Alucast has the technical facilities on site if required, to assist new and existing customers with the design of new castings, which can result in a reduction of possible future rejects and costs.

The company if required can undertake a complete design and development programme for new tooling, which may include advice for the design to optimise desired properties such as strength or on alloys to enhance properties via heat treatments.

Running and gating systems are designed to ensure that castings are consistently free from potential defects and to a high integrity; this ensures that components are produced not only in the quantities required but also to an acceptable standard of quality.
